About us

Thank you for shopping at Shiny Pup! We started making Shiny Pup products after rescuing our dog Winnie from a very high kill shelter in Riverside, CA. Within seconds after meeting Winnie, she screamed in agony when she thought we might be leaving without her so of course we adopted her. Even though she was underfed, had horrible dental disease and skin issues, she knew she was the super star from the moment we met her and from there we made our first harness to show everyone what a star she truly is. Winnie has separation anxiety and loves to be with us at all times and armed with her shiny harness, necklaces and super star personality, we started to get an overwhelming demand for her accessories and thus Shiny Pup was born. 

Each accessory is personally made by us and with loving care in our home full of rescued dogs and cats and it is our goal to show the world how much of a star your pet is too!  A portion of our proceeds supports smaller lesser known animal rescue charities for dogs and cats.
